Spring in the Hills

Once a year Long Dogs WA is invited to a beautiful property in the Perth hills to run free on a farm. It’s my favorite walk of the year. Our amazing host also provide tea, coffee and delicious nibbles.

This year the fields where bright with gorgeous canola and we were able to skirt the edges and soak in the ambiance.

Resident dachshund Kira led the way and 42 other short legged canines bounded their way along behind.

There were a few delightful creek crossings, and those who love the water dove right in to get their paws wet (and maybe a tiny bit muddy).

After all the excitement most of our furry friends snoozed all the way home. Dreaming, no doubt, of coming back again next year.
